Christine M. Guererra M.S.

Christine is IMPACT’s Case Management and Family Services Supervisor.  She comes to IMPACT from Carbon County Children and Youth Services where she had extensive experience as a caseworker in their foster care department.  She also conducted child protective service investigations and general protective services.   She is intimately familiar with Pennsylvania’s child welfare regulations, the foster care system, and the family court system.  Her passion for helping children in need is deep and unwavering.

Christine received an Associate Degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College in Social Science, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor of Health and Wellness from Cedar Crest College and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree from Kutztown University.

Although she has not lived there in quite some time, she still considers herself a “Philly Girl”.  Her journey in the human service field began there while she attended Catholic School.  Her faith and devotion to Christian principles molded her heart at a young age and she felt called to follow in the humble steps of Jesus.  She also found great joy in humanitarian causes such as helping to raise money for UNICEF.  She came to realize that life is about being part of the solution, not the problem.   This has been her driving force along her life path.
