Jeffrey A. Bergey

Jeff was born in Lansdale, PA and was adopted by his parents shortly thereafter.  He grew up in Lansdale and as a teen moved to Pennsburg, PA.  Even as far back as high school he can remember having a strong desire to work with and help kids.  After graduation he attended college first in Pensacola, Florida and then finished at Clarks Summit University with a bachelor’s degree in History Education.

After graduating, Jeff began teaching history and coaching soccer and basketball.  After 15 years of teaching and coaching, he was promoted into an administrative role as Athletic Director and then as Head of School and Director of International Students.  After the passing of his loving wife of 23 years, Jeff took a job with Montgomery County as their Lead Vocational Instructor.  In this role he provided comprehensive job readiness training, IT instruction, application, interviewing and job retention techniques to adolescents and adults.

He joins IMPACT’s team as our Foster Parent Liaison and he comes with a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and passion which will undoubtedly translate to success in the recruitment, training and retention of all of our foster families.
